Winter Weather

Although it hasn't felt like it lately, winter is here. It is the season that we see water damages due to frozen pipes. Not responding to your damage quickly can lead to costly mistakes. If you experience a water damage in your home, be sure to follow these steps.

1. Stop the water flow. 

Turn off the water main as soon as you notice something is wrong.Make sure to drain the lines throughout the home.

2. Inspect

Inspect the damage to determine if it is something that you can handle on your own or if you need additional help.

3. Call Professional Help

Call professional help if needed.  A plumber may be necessary to repair any damages to your pipes. Once that repair is made, SERVPRO can begin the restoration process.
